Ideas for May's Journey

SKYTOWER 76, a skyscraper built in 1975 and went in operation in 1976. Was once the worldwide center for government agreements and meetings. But one day the island it's stationed on disappeared into the ocean. You spend the 2nd half of 1/3 climbing the tower to face IT and stop the spread of darkness over the planet.

The FLATENER, a huge mechanical contraption built to destroy planets and harvest their materials. Your main goal in 2/3 is to destroy The FLATENER to save the world from ultimate destruction.

The SKYPIERCER, a huge building that gets landed onto the planet. You have to traverse it which will take up the majority of 3/3. At the top where the line between Sky and Space is blurred you fight the friend that goes missing at the beginning of 1/3.

Everything involving the friend

The friend that goes missing at the beginning of 1/3 is out to research the disappearance of The SKYTOWER 76. This research makes them go insane and they go to rebuild it to try and obtain the power it once held. About 2 years after the search begins, they discover an abandoned subway at the portside of the island they live on. They find an old computer that is no longer in function. They try their best and eventually get it working once more. But their hit with a command prompt. Without having the original manual for the type of computer this is they cannot do anything with it. But while inspecting the keyboard for a potential help key they notice something. A slot for 4 shards. They do know about the shards and where to get them. But they don't know how to resurrect the beings that hold the shards. Stumped by the conundrum they leave in search for a solution. They begin researching The Beneath, a place where truly nothing really matters. They suspect that if they find a way to open up an entrance to the beneath they'll be able to resurrect the 5 beings. A Kraken, An Angel, A Robot, A Piece Of IT, And Finally... IT. So they went to figure out how to open up The Beneath. One day after searching for hours through text books they found a theory. This theory said that if the ground were to one day split, The Beneath would once again be a realm that human kind can enter. They then looked into how to split the Earth, but could find nothing. So they decided that if they wanted to enter The Beneath, if they wanted to stand on the podium, and if they wanted to unleash The Beings... they would have to find their own way to split the Earth. So one day, when they were given a golden opportunity to go to space, they immediately took it. The launch was only a few months away, so they went to research materials only found in space and certain planets. Until eventually they read about a metal exclusively on Mars that was stronger than Titanium called Xentrodyte, they knew they had to find it and harvest it for themself. So on the day of launch, when they went into space, when they neared Mars, despite the crew's demands against, they directed towards the planet. When the ship landed, they put their suit on and went onto the planet, but before they could do anything, the rocket started taking off, leaving them behind. Now stranded on Mars, despite being left behind by their crew, they didn't feel sadness, they didn't feel anger, they felt nothing but pure happiness. Happiness that they were now free to do whatever they wanted. And the first thing they did was look for Xentrodyte. And when they did find it, despite not having any tools whatsoever, the tried and tried and tried to harvest it. And when they felt that they had enough, they began construction. They constructed a small hut where they could store their stuff. But then they ran into a problem, eventually they would run out of Oxygen, so they had to improvise. They started breathing less to save Oxygen, then went to harvest more Xentrodyte. And when they returned to their hut, they began building a contraption. Something that would convert Co2 into Breathable Oxygen. Even though due to them being on Mars and not having access to electricity, Xentrodyte's special compounds allowed for items that would normally require electricity to power, if Xentrodyte was involved, they would get unlimited power. So they built a Xentrodyte Circuit Machine that would act as an outlet for items to be plugged into. So they built a port for the Co2 to Oxygen convert and plugged it into the sudo-outlet. And it worked, it worked so well that the machine started to smoke. They immediately started working on a fix, and built a resister cable that would plug into both the outlet and the machine, at the center of the cable was a tube with pins that would take the raw energy, and release the energy while keeping just enough to power the machine. But since the energy would just be released and had nowhere to go, it would be a huge hazard to use. So they decided to go and collect more Xentrodyte. And when they returned with enough, they built a radio. While they were gathering more materials, they discovered a new material that was strong like Xentrodyte, yet flexible like rubber. So when they returned to their hut they made wires and connected them to the cable. When the turned on the radio everything had worked perfectly just as they expected. So they plugged the machine into the cable and it functioned properly without smoking.
